The WDA will help you find a web designer for your online project. We have particular responsibility to promote interest, education, knowledge and pride in quality website design, development, and maintenance. We regularly publish papers from members on good design practice.
WDA is responsible for the promotion of professional website design. It provides instruction in good web design practices, search engine optimisation, maintenance and advertising platform for its members. The need for these activities is highlighted by the number of substandard designs and web security failures in this and other countries.
WDA has a small number of core volunteers based in Dublin but it depends on a large number of voluntary activists organised into area based design communities to run courses instructing people in good design techniques. WDA does not receive any government aid or grant, all our expenses are covered by voluntary member subscriptions and donations.
