Finding a website designer made easy

updated on 24 May 2010

The Website Designers Association (WDA) is a voluntary self-regulatory professional body representing the business and professional interests of firms and individuals engaged in website design, optimisation and maintenance as well as related online software development. The WDA was established as an independent body to provide a forum and a platform for international consultation and dialogue on all issues surrounding the pursuit of professional design, development and maintenance of websites as well as internet security.

Our members get automatic entry into the online register of designers. This register gives each member an apportunity to showcase their area of expertise and publish their design portfolio. Each designer's profile is available online to visitors and clients wishing to use the member's web design services.

Membership

A designer can apply for entry into our register by providing details of their design work and area of expertise. The submission will be assessed by the association and once approved the member can be incorporated into our online directory.

Mission statement

The WDA is the official voice of website design and development practices and its members set international benchmark standards for website development professionals.

WDA demands from its members the achievement of high quality cost effective online solutions to the benefit of clients and society.

WDA promotes amongst its members best practices, sustainability and ethical behaviour in the operation of their practices.
